This is a very special place. We very suddenly lost our cat Franklin — who has been a regular patient here along with our other cats for a few years — one morning about a month ago. We had no idea what happened, and when we brought his body in they offered a free autopsy to figure out what happened. All the staff were so kind, thoughtful, and warm. They know our cats well, and the peace of mind that they gave us with the autopsy (he had feline hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which is an essentially undetectable heart condition in which there is abnormal thickening of one chamber of the heart, accompanied in Frankie's case with fluid in the lungs) and the assurances they provided that there was nothing we could have done, no way we could have known, were absolutely essential to our grieving and healing process. I don't think it would have occurred to us to request an autopsy ourselves, and I truly cannot emphasize how much closure it provided. The care they provide to our cats in all areas of their lives is just extraordinary. These are true animal people, and I actually enjoy bringing the cats to the vet because they are recognized and loved so well by the people there. Thank you for everything that you do.

Thorough and careful care. Always concerned about what’s best for my furry companion. They greet and say goodbye to my anxious kitty directly in sweet voices - you know they care! Up front about costs and procedures. They also have many services in-house, so rarely is there any need to wait for something to be sent elsewhere or to be referred for a particular service.

This place is so unprofessional. They have me deposit $50 for the first visit saying that it’s for later as if my pet will need shots or anything after but it’s not to secure the appointment. On their site, they said that it’s free for a first-time visit. I asked for a refund and they wouldn’t refund back and switched on their words saying it was to secure the spot, very disappointing.

Amazing service even during covid times. My dog Henry was adopted earlier this February and we took him in to the vet. We were told many things at the animal humane society were in fact wrong and he also had a lengthy list of infections we had to take care of. Everyone was so kind and patient with me and very informative about how I can care for Henry. I have only had two precious experiences with vets and I’m honestly about to bring in my cat here just because of the amazing service. Thank you for being so informative and helpful with my special dog!

I have been going here for a year with the Care Club and wow. The level of care and service has vastly decreased over time. It’s all new staff only 1 doctor is the same since sign up and she’s still wonderful. But didn’t have the luxury of having her today. They are very pushy on giving your dog stuff you don’t need and they do the service BEFORE telling you prices. And when you you decline certain things they will get very judgmental. No my dog doesn’t need the sleeping meds I know my dog better than you. As a salesman myself I know when I’m being pitched. Rude service at the desk and will make you wait 45 minutes during your appointment. Show up on time for your appointment good for you. Guess what your still waiting on them for 20 to 30 mins

Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to our beloved dog after 16 years. I started going to VCA Feist animal hospital, two years ago and the doctors here are exceptional! The care and love that they have given to my pets has exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend that you bring your pet here. I can’t compare prices because everywhere I’ve gone has just been what I have paid for the care of my beloved pets. When we had to say goodbye to Chewy they had the most beautiful room Set aside for this very purpose. It was the best that I could have hoped for in this situation. I highly highly recommend VCA, Feist Animal Hospital!

I have been using this VET for over 18 years, and have never had any issues until now. I had my husband to check my 5 MO doggo while she used the bathroom in the front. When I walked to the front desk I was greeted by a staff member who was very helpful, but you could also feel the energy of the room shift once I entered. Without asking for my name anything to do with our visit I was immediately condescended and spoken down to by the Vet assistant who was also behind the desk. I haven’t been spoken to like that since I was a child. I’m not sure if that’s how they usually speak to most adults. This experience was incredibly uncomfortable and disheartening. I’m black, not stupid.
